Dr Livingston contributes to the peer-reviewed plastic surgery literature and supervises trainee research, with a particular interest in high-risk skin cancer, body contouring and reconstructive technique.
ORCID 0000-0002-7383-9275Dr Livingston supervises registrar and resident research, and has supported multiple poster presentations at the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) annual scientific meetings. He has presented at academic and plastic surgery conferences and received prizes for that work.

Dr Livingston is a founding Senior Medical Officer of the Plastic Surgery Department at Sunshine Coast University Hospital and is involved in the training of surgical registrars and residents.
